
The junior high girls basketball team traveled to Summerfield on Monday night and lost two hard fought competitions. The 7th grade team lost 21-12. Cooper Robinson and Maddie Plank each had 4 points for the Aggies. The 8th grade team lost 14-9. The leading scorer was Raelynn Steinke with 6 points while Macie Smith chipped in 3 points and had numerous key blocks. The Aggies will look to bounce back on Wednesday as they play at Britton Deerfield.

Tonight's home JV girls basketball game against BD is scheduled as a 2 quarter scrimmage. This makes the anticipated start time of the varsity game approximately 6:30 p.m.

On January 24th the JV and varsity boys bowling teams competed against Britton Deerfield. The JV boys had a close match coming up just short. Top bowlers were Logan Underwood with at 171 and a 159, Zach Prater with a 109, and Cassius Kern-Ruesink with a 106.
The varsity boys had a tough loss. Bowling high games were Jonathan Fisher with a 187 and a 162 and Wyett Rutledge with a 209.

On January 25th the lady Aggie bowling team took on Britton Deerfield coming home with a win. Bowling high games were Paige Luck with a 154, Rileigh Hoffman with a 123, and Addison Butz with a 122.

The JV boys basketball team improved their record on Friday night with a road win vs league rival LCS. Being worn down from the night before at Whitmore lake, the boys got off to a slow start giving LCS a little fire on their home court. By the second quarter the boys found their legs and were able to take the lead and never looked back, with the final score ending up 64-45. Grady Hazelwood put the first 20 point game in the books for JV this season with 21 total. Gavin Eack found double digits again scoring 12 and Landon Carmody marked 11 in the book finding his way to the free throw line 5 times. The boys stand at 11 wins and 2 losses on the season.
The varsity team showed a lot of grit but ended up falling to the Cougars with a score of 63-41. Standout players were Rory Eack with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Cole Scharer with 7 points and 7 rebounds.

The wrestling team traveled to the Grass Lake Individual Tournament over the weekend. Nicholas Trame place 4th for the Aggies.

Last Thursday the JV and varsity boys basketball teams traveled to Whitmore Lake.
The JV boys added to the win column improving to 10-2 on the road. The final score was 56-49 when the buzzer rang, but it was an up and down battle all night. Landon Carmody led SC with 15 points followed by Grady Hazelwood with 13. The guys had to play tough defense and fast offense all night as Whitmore Lake outsized them and were able to out rebound SC all night.
The varsity team won with a final score of 65-61. Top performers for the night were Rory Eack with 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists and Aidan Walsh with 13 points and 2 steals.

On January 17th, the lady Aggie wrestlers traveled to Birmingham Groves Individual Tournament. Winning a match on the night for the Aggies was Hailey Baker @ 115 pounds.
The boys traveled to the Hudson Individual Tournament. Placing 5th for the Aggies was Tucker Hulett @ 190 pounds.

The Homecoming court will be presented and the king will be crowned between the JV and varsity games. The MooCrew theme is Sand Creek colors. Come out and cheer on the Aggies!
