The JV boys basketball team improved their record on Friday night with a road win vs league rival LCS. Being worn down from the night before at Whitmore lake, the boys got off to a slow start giving LCS a little fire on their home court. By the second quarter the boys found their legs and were able to take the lead and never looked back, with the final score ending up 64-45. Grady Hazelwood put the first 20 point game in the books for JV this season with 21 total. Gavin Eack found double digits again scoring 12 and Landon Carmody marked 11 in the book finding his way to the free throw line 5 times. The boys stand at 11 wins and 2 losses on the season. The varsity team showed a lot of grit but ended up falling to the Cougars with a score of 63-41. Standout players were Rory Eack with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Cole Scharer with 7 points and 7 rebounds.
