The varsity boys basketball season came to a heart breaking end last night in Hudson vs. Addison for the first District game. The game was back and forth all night with several lead changes and 5 to 10 point runs and swings throughout. The boys went into halftime down 2 points but came out swinging in the third to jump to a 10 point lead. The Addison Panthers stepped it up in the fourth to bring the game back to even relying heavily on the free throw line to do so. Down 1 with 25 seconds left to play Andon Sutherland was sent to the free throw line. Knocking down both shots the Aggies were up 1 with 25 seconds to play. The Panthers drew up and executed a dribble drive and were able to hit the shot to finish the game off 64-63. Cole Scharer led the score for SC with 15 points and pulled down 9 boards. Rory Eack marked 11 points in the book and grabbed 8 rebounds while Jared Snyder and Andon Sutherland each added 10 points. Aidan Walsh contributed 5 assists on the night. It was a long season marked by a tough travel schedule and an even tougher league, with 2 league opponents being ranked in the top 5 in the state. The guys played hard and overcame great adversity throughout the season and through their whole career. The basketball program thanks the seniors for their commitment to the program and the hard work they all have put in.

Maddy Trame led the team with 5 steals, 7 deflections, and 2 assists. Elise Wilkinson chipped in with 9 rebounds. Emma Burns hit a big jump shot in the 4th quarter, and Erin Alexander played good defense throughout. It was a total team win. Great job, ladies.

The boys and girls bowling teams competed in MHSAA Regionals Thursday and Friday. The girls team placed 3rd and the boys team placed 6th.
Jonathan Fisher placed 2nd in the singles tournament which means he will be headed to States! Congratulations, Jonathan! Well done, Aggies!

The JV boys capped their season off last night with a victory against Hudson 49-28. Gavin Eack caught fire in the 3rd quarter putting in five 3 pointers and finishing the quarter with 17 points. In total Gavin hit six 3s on the night and finished with 22 points. Parker Strahan was the second leading scorer with 9 points. Parker also had 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists. Silas Daniels and Jackson Sutherland led the team in steals with 6 each.
The boys finished the season last night with a final record standing at 16 wins with 6 loses. The season was tough, dealing with sickness running through the team several times, a very tough travel schedule including 5 games 1 hour+ travel time, and some injuries from time to time, the boys fought through it all. Holding themselves accountable and their teammates accountable, they built trust. Trust not only in the starting 5 but throughout the whole team. By the season's end all 11 guys were able to function effectively together and play quality basketball. The program looks forward to building onto the accomplishments of the JV season and the work that the guys put in this year. Great season guys I can’t wait to see what this program has in store in the future.
-Coach Sutherland

The varsity boys basketball team went on the road on Thursday to play their last regular season game. In a very spirited game, the Aggies lead most of the game but eventually lost to a good Hudson Tiger team on their senior night 50-46. Our Aggie team played their hearts out on defense getting timely stops for 3-1/2 quarters and executing the offense for those same 3-1/2 quarters.
The Aggies were paced by Seniors Cole Scharer with 18 points and 9 rebounds, also playing a big part in the game was Rory Eack with 17 points and 11 rebounds. But overall the team played great defense creating numerous opportunities on the offensive end with timely steals and rebounds. Eventually Hudson hit some shots at the end of the day to prevail, but that does not take away the effort, grit and determination the varsity displayed for this game before heading into the State Tournament on Monday at Hudson taking on the Addison Panthers at 7 p.m.
The team would like to thank all the parents and fans who showed up in support of our team last night and throughout the season, the game last night was something each of our players will keep in their memories for the rest of their lives.

Congratulations to our Positive Postcard recipients for February!

The Aggies played even with Pittsford until the 3rd quarter finding themselves down 7 midway thru the quarter but battled back being down 2 points heading into the 4th quarter. Some timely shots and some stops on defense gave the Aggies the lead winning the quarter 14-9 and the game win.
