Athletic schedule for the week:

The Sand Creek Student Government volunteered at the Salvation Army last week sorting donations from the Toys for Tots campaign. They worked to organize and create a “toy shop” where families in need can shop for their children this holiday season. They did a great job representing what it means to have 1SC values!

Sand Creek Schools went into a Secure Mode this morning due to a medical issue. The LockDown Boot was accidentally pulled at that time. Everyone is safe and healthy and we are operating normally.

The 6th grade class is hosting a Winter Clothing Drive now through Wednesday, December 20th.

The School of Choice window for second semester is open NOW through Friday, December 22, 2023. Call our offices to set up a tour or to shadow a Sand Creek student for a day!

A yearbook makes an awesome Christmas gift!

The Federal Government has announced the FAFSA is expected to be released December 30th. The Aggie Academic Career and Counseling Center, in partnership with Jackson College, is hosting a FAFSA workshop on January 10, 2024 starting at 5:30pm in the Sand Creek High School library. Your student will want to bring their school issued Chromebook to ensure access to the internet. Please view the Aggie Academic and Career Counseling Webpage Newsletter for information on FSA ID and other documentation that you will need to bring to the event. Regardless of post-secondary plans, it is recommended that every graduating senior complete the FAFSA.

Our local Salvation Army is holding their annual kettle painting contest again this year. All of the high schools in Lenawee County are participating and you can go onto Salvation Army’s Facebook page and vote for your favorite design! Voting ends on December 6th.
Sand Creek’s painted kettle, done by Mrs. Scheu-Millek, is currently in the high school office and open for anyone that would like to donate to the Salvation Army. “Most Money Raised” is another part of this competition. All collections will be used to serve Lenawee County communities.
